VORTEX
The VORTEX Blend is a research formulation consisting of four structurally defined synthetic peptide components: GHK-Cu, Epithalon, SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3), and KPV. Each component is produced through controlled solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS)—with GHK-Cu additionally undergoing copper complexation—and combined in a standardized formulation for use in laboratory research environments. The four components are drawn from four distinct mechanistic classes. The composition is fixed at manufacture and reproducible lot to lot, which allows the composite preparation to be examined against its individual components and against differently weighted variants under controlled conditions. All applications are limited to in vitro research models. The product is supplied in lyophilized powder form. This product is not formulated for clinical, diagnostic, cosmetic, or therapeutic use.

Product Description:
- The VORTEX Blend is a research formulation consisting of four structurally defined synthetic peptide components: GHK-Cu, Epithalon, SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3), and KPV.
Co-Formulation Characteristics:
-
- Each component of this preparation has been screened by structure for the residue classes that govern co-formulation behavior — thioether sulfur, disulfide and free thiol, and aromatic residues susceptible to metal-catalyzed oxidation. Results are documented per component.
-
- SNAP-8 carries a methionine thioether and is the only oxidation-susceptible component in this preparation. It is co-formulated with 70 mg of a copper-coordinated peptide. In the lyophilized state, low water activity suppresses the relevant pathway. On reconstitution, the pathway becomes available, which is why the handling requirements below are specific rather than generic. Epithalon and KPV contain no sulfur and no oxidation-susceptible aromatic residues.
- We publish this because it is verifiable from the component identities and because it determines how the material should be handled.
Research Applications:
- Analytical evaluation of peptide structure and composition within multi-component systems
- Examination of stability and degradation profiles of combined peptide formulations
- Investigation of peptide behavior in biochemical and in vitro assay environments
- Characterization of interactions between peptide components, including peptide–copper complex compatibility, under controlled experimental conditions
Storage, reconstitution and Handling:
- Store lyophilized material at -20 °C for long-term stability
- Reconstitute with 2 mL of a suitable laboratory diluent. The vial is supplied under vacuum and will draw the diluent in without assistance
- Do not vent the vial or introduce headspace air at any point. The vacuum seal excludes oxygen, and this preparation contains an oxidation-susceptible component together with a copper complex. Introducing air removes that protection. Transfer directly from the sealed vial
- Store the reconstituted solution at 2–8 °C. In-use window: 14–21 days. The range reflects handling — headspace exposure, temperature excursions during transfer, and the number of withdrawals — rather than lot-to-lot variability. Preparations kept sealed, cold, and transferred in few operations sit at the upper end of the range
- Protect from light, heat, and repeated freeze–thaw cycles
- Handle using appropriate laboratory safety and aseptic techniques
Product Specifications:
- Composition: 70 mg GHK-Cu / 10 mg Epithalon / 10 mg SNAP-8 / 10 mg KPV (refer to lot-specific Certificate of Analysis)
- Purity: ≥99% per component (HPLC Certified)
- Appearance: Blue lyophilized powder. Once diluted, do not assess integrity visually. This solution is blue by virtue of its copper-peptide component, and that color is not an indicator of the integrity of the other components. The degradation pathway relevant to this preparation produces no visible change
- Solubility: Soluble in suitable laboratory agents
- Form: Lyophilized powder
